So you survived the first wave of ALLSTAR 2026. You grabbed your Promo Diamonds, you started farming Treasure Hunt Coins, and you thought you could relax. Wrong. Moonton just loaded the cannon for Wave 2, and it fires tomorrow.

Tide Clash 5v5, Tidal Boost, and a brand-new PvE mode called Tide Siege all go live on May 8, and that’s before we even talk about the skin lineup waiting for you later this month. If you read Part 1 of this 515 guide, consider this the sequel where the stakes get higher and your Diamond stash gets thinner.

Here’s your roadmap for Wave 2.

What Drops on May 8 🌊

Two major events and one arcade mode hit the servers at the same time.

Tide Clash 5v5: The Event Mode You’ll Actually Want to Grind

Tide Clash 5v5 runs from May 8 to June 16 and supports both Team Mode and Solo Mode. You queue into a 5v5 PvP event match, and every game you play counts toward your ALLSTAR progression. Your first match each day guarantees a piece of Bait for the Tidal Fishing mini-game launching on May 15.

Play this with your squad in Team Mode for faster, more consistent games. Solo Mode works too, but you already know how random matchmaking can get. Stack Bait early so you’re not scrambling when Tidal Fishing goes live next week.

Tidal Boost: Spend to Accelerate

Tidal Boost also runs May 8 to June 16 and adds multiple spending tiers that convert Diamond purchases into extra Treasure Hunt Coins for the Tidal Treasure Hunt. Higher spend thresholds unlock bigger coin multipliers, so if you’re planning to top up anyway for the skins dropping later this month, routing those Diamonds through Tidal Boost windows means you double-dip on rewards.

F2P players can skip this entirely and still progress through daily missions. But if you’re sitting on a recharge budget, this is the most efficient moment to spend it.

Tide Siege: The PvE Mode Nobody Expected

Here’s the wildcard. Tide Siege is a 3-player co-op PvE defense mode where your squad picks from a specific hero pool and defends your base against waves of corrupted sea creatures. Standard Mode (18 waves) went live on May 7, and Endless Mode (18 + 42 bonus waves) opens on May 8. A boss shows up every 6 waves, and your heroes gain scaling buffs as the rounds progress.

Think of it like a tower defense game inside MLBB. Alpha joins the playable roster on May 12, and Cecilion unlocks on May 15. If you enjoy PvE content, this mode could eat your entire weekend. Fair warning.

The Free Skin You Should Already Be Farming πŸ‰

If you haven’t started grinding for the Yu Zhong “Tidescale Sealord” skin yet, you’re behind. This is the flagship free ALLSTAR skin, and you grab it through the Tidal Treasure Hunt event running from April 30 to June 28. Kill objectives, destroy turrets, score eliminations, and watch those Treasure Hunt Coins stack up.

You also get the painted variant, “Fathomless Sealord”, for free through the same event track. Two Yu Zhong skins for zero Diamonds. Moonton doesn’t hand out deals like this often.

The key here is consistency. Log in every day, play your matches, and hit your coin milestones. Players who started on April 30 already have a head start, but you still have almost two months of runway. Don’t panic, just don’t skip days.

Which Rolling Tides Skin Is Worth Your Diamonds? πŸ’Ž

Three skins make up the Rolling Tides series, and each one comes through a different path.

Yu Zhong “Tidescale Sealord” is free through the Tidal Treasure Hunt. No Diamonds required. The deep-sea dragon aesthetic looks solid, and the painted “Fathomless Sealord” variant adds extra visual flair. For a free skin, this is one of the best Moonton has given away during an ALLSTAR cycle.

Pharsa “Seasworn Oracle” launches on May 17 through the Rolling Tides Battlepass. The normal pass costs 399 Diamonds and the premium version runs 599 Diamonds. Pharsa mains should grab this without thinking twice. The oceanic spell effects are clean, and at that price point, it’s a steal compared to pulling from a gacha.

Ling “Phantom Current” hits the shop on May 24 with a 30% first-week discount. Full price sits at around 1,050 Diamonds, so buying during the discount window brings it down to roughly 735 Diamonds and saves you over 300 Diamonds. The skin transforms Ling into a deep-sea assassin with water-trail slash effects on every ability. If you main Ling in ranked, week one is your moment.

Promo Diamonds: Use Them or Lose Them

Quick reminder: Promo Diamonds only drop twice a year during 515 and the 11.11 Mega Sale. You’ve been farming them through daily tasks during the ALLSTAR Promo Carnival, and each day of completed missions earns you 55 Promo Diamonds.

Once the spending phase activates around May 15, you can use them to slash the price of skins and items in the shop down to as low as 1 Diamond. Every Epic or Limited skin in the store becomes accessible if you’ve been consistent with your daily grind.

If you’re sitting on a pile of Promo Diamonds and haven’t planned what to spend them on, now is the time to make your shopping list. Once the 515 window closes, these Diamonds vanish. And the next chance to earn more won’t come until November.

Your Wave 2 Checklist βœ…

  • Play Tide Clash 5v5 daily starting May 8 to collect Bait before Tidal Fishing launches on the 15th
  • Keep farming Treasure Hunt Coins through objectives and eliminations for the free Yu Zhong skin
  • Try Tide Siege with your squad if you want a break from PvP
  • Set a Diamond budget now if you’re going for Pharsa (May 17) or Ling (May 24)
  • Spend your Promo Diamonds during the 515 peak window around May 15
  • Don’t forget the Karina and Selena Zodiac skins on May 21 if you’ve been collecting the set

The ALLSTAR 2026 event runs all the way through June 28, but the densest reward window is happening right now. Wave 2 drops tomorrow. Get in there.
